Harmony Tree closes at 6:00 p.m. There will be a $1 late pickup charge for every minute after closing.
For the summer program, you are welcome to pick up your child during elective periods, but we strongly discourage early pickups for academic classes. Your child’s full participation in the class will ensure a better learning experience for him or her. For the after-school program, there are no restrictions on early pickups. However, if your child leaves early, instructors are less likely to have reviewed and corrected all assignments.
Harmony Tree caters mainly to schools in the Alhambra Unified School District located in Monterey Park. Transportation rosters vary from year to year depending on enrollment. Contact us for an updated list of schools.
For the after- school program, the following are our operating hours:
MONDAY 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
TUESDAY 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
WEDNESDAY 12:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
THURSDAY 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
FRIDAY 1:30 p.m – 6:00 p.m.
* on scheduled school Minimum Days, Harmony Tree will open at 11:45 a.m.
For the summer program, we accept students entering Kindergarten in the Fall to 8th grade.
For the after-school program, we accept Kindergarten to 8th grade level students.
Harmony Tree offers a tuition discount of 5% for siblings. (the first child will pay regular tuition, and each additional sibling will receive a 5% discount off of tuition)

Yes, Harmony Tree offers classes on Saturday mornings. Please check the Programs tab and navigate to Saturday Classes for more information.” Saturday afternoons and Sundays are reserved for private party bookings and events.
Harmony Tree is closed for all major U.S. holidays. We align our calendar with Alhambra Unified School District. Therefore, we are closed on all days AUSD schools are closed.

In order to take a tour of our facility, you must make an appointment. Simply check available dates and time slots for tours on the calendar below and select a slot. Should you need to reschedule or cancel the appointment, make sure to contact us. Please arrive on time. Tours generally last 30 to 45 minutes and include answers to any of your questions. If you are late, tours may be rescheduled.
Individual tutoring sessions are based on staff availability. Please contact us via email to inquire.
Harmony Tree is currently not open on the weekends for classes. Harmony Tree is often booked for parties and events on the weekends.
Harmony Tree is closed for all major U.S. holidays. For breaks, we offer Bridge Programs based on need. Bridge Programs are not academically based. Activities will be scheduled throughout the day for the children, but they will not be separated by grade levels nor participate in subject lessons. Please see our Bridge Program page for additional information.
We currently only offer a Lunch Subscription service for Summer Camp students. Lunches are packaged individually to prevent cross-contamination. The fee for this service is $175.00 for 7 weeks. A menu will be made available prior to the Summer Camp. Parents need to notify the staff of any allergies during registration for Summer Camp.
